The dream to launch Velocity One Aviation began nearly two decades ago. Chris began his aviation career with Mountain Air Cargo helping to manage nearly 100 Fokker 27 turbojet and Cessna Caravan turboprop aircraft delivering freight throughout the United States. Chris has served as a pilot for two FAA Part 135 certificated charter companies, each of which helped grow his skills and experience with each step up the corporate ladder. In 2002 Chris formed his own aircraft management company which provided consulting, aircraft acquisition services and aircraft dry leasing abroad. As Chris gained experience in the world of corporate aviation, he recognized an unfulfilled need to improve the private and corporate travel experience, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations. His experience, knowledge and vision now come together to form Velocity One Aviation, LLC. As Velocity One Aviation emerges and positions for growth, Chris remains loyal to the very fabric forming our brand: the highly qualified Employee family we cultivate plus a steadfast dedication to “Safety First” and an unwavering commitment to Flight Standards. That triad is in fact Chris' number one priority. Chris holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and is qualified to fly both multiengine and single engine aircraft, including qualifications in the CE680 and CE680+, BE-400, LR-JET and MU-300 aircraft. Chris and his wife Stephanie and their two children Ella and Banks are members of the First Baptist Church in Statesville, NC. When not flying, Chris enjoys sport and fly fishing, spending time with family and vacations at the beach.
